The Adair tracks I have on my maxII need about 2'' of min clearance, I did some tub remolding with some heat and pressure, to get the final clearance.

Yes this is costal mud, you sink over you knees in this stuff.

I bought kenda tires with a chevron pattern 21x11x8 they came mounted to rims with a different offset that makes them stock out about 3'' more than stock rims.

My used adair tracks for my maxII are about 163'' long, I am using 21x11x8'' tires and 4 psi in the tires has about 1'' of sag under the middle tire.

Do you have any upclose pictures of how you mounted it to the body?

map gas torch worked good, it was only touching at the top of the tires, so I'll see if it holds the shape, I did it last night so it could have all night to cool.

As of right now it doesn't get things that hot, after seeing your other air duct I plan make one that way, if I shield the muffler...

Ok this is what I ended up doing as the car muffler was hitting the body when I shut it.
so the muffler I took of was not in that bad of shape, so I cleaned it up and welded it on....

Got a set of used adair tracks for my maxII, only issue I see is that the clearance between the body and the front 2 wheels. They fit, not binding but just kissing the bottom of the tub a bit.

Now I did some testing and stopped on a hill had my engine cover off and looked at the belts gave it gas and saw the primary clutch move in a bit but the belt started to slip...

so what if the belt is a little loose what does that cause?
what if its to tight?
I have about 2'' up and down movment I see the the manual says 1.5'' so I need to tighten.

Ok how do the clutches work?
I rev mine in neutral and the clutch on the motor moves in, then the one on the t20 moves toward the t20.
so when should the motor clutch kick in vs. the t20 clutch?...
