Not stealing the thread...but what about attaching a skid plate on the front of the hull with this stuff. Would that work with rubber like a mud flap? Just curious cause the front of my machine is...
Hey i'm just over an hour away in bradford, pa so pretty close. You need anything I could find my way up to help ya out if work allows. Let me know.
check out duro tires...I put them on my max and love the softer ride. Plus they dig and swim actually 22x11x8 Duro Mud & Sand HF-243 - 2 ply (Tire only)
I moved my engine when I replaced mine. A quick tip is to mark where you engine was sitting at makes it much easier trying to get it all lined back up. And while you're at it check your belt and...
I use a 5x10 trailer for my max II and its plently long just a little tight on the sides. Only a few inches to spare with that. And around the muffler my heat shield is tight with the exhaust...
Something to check that i noticed on my max was that the locking collars were loose on my center axle allowing it to slide back and forth. I could see that breaking a chain easily.
Also 72soa what...
Your belt may be too tight/wrong size is my guess. My belt sits about flush with my engine cluch with just a little lip over and down low on my tranny clutch. Also it may be as simple as the clutch...
If those don't work for ya check out oregon scientifics helmet cam. I used one in Iraq for a year and it was great....took a horrible amount of punishment and kept going. Plus totally water proof...
Raise the cover on the engine and watch to see if the clutches are fully engaging when running reving up and down. One my be sticking or your belt tension my be too loose/tight.

I found my Max as a plain jane and have been picking away at making it to what I truly want. And the big thing is when someone gets one of these machines they tend to hold on to them. My Max will...
PB blaster, a little heat, and tapping up and down on the sprokets helps losen it a lot. I did that on my one front axle when I replaced it and it came out pretty easy. Less then a 40 minute...

Hey it was the fuse. Put a new one in and I am good to go. Also the switch connections are loose...when the machine is running they will come loose after a few minutes and shut the heater off. One...
Where is it leaking at. between the flange or the axle and lock collar?
