Any luck on the bearings ? Many years ago when I sold auto parts we were able to cross bearing numbers so it can have a dust shield or no shields for a fully greaseable bearing

Would be worth a try. With pvc threads leave first two threads bare , sealant on test of threads. Wipe excess off when installed and form a cap around fitting

John boy - I would go with automotive or marine type battery. Cost more $$ but worth the investment. I've read that the optima yellow top is ideal for these machines.

Is this a carb model ? You may have bad fuel in it

Of icu conditions then the ice cleats will help out. Not sure what kind of tracks you have. Either way would be worth the investment in my opinion.
