Rebuilt the tranny in my max 4 someone had gear oil in it. Cleaned it all out . One of the bands had the material separating so I replaced it with a band out of a older T20 and it doesn't...

Well I thought the vanguard would be a good replacement I have a 1980 Max4 with a 16 HP Tecumseh. Open to any advice. Sorry It took so long to respond.
