I am looking for a driver clutch for an Argo Conquest (127-71) if you have one?
Looking for Driver/Primary Clutch for 1996 Argo Conquest with a 20hp Kawasaki.
Do you still have this? If so would you sell just the clutch?
phabib, something like that may work as well. Does anyone know how difficult it is to find HDPE in sheets? Might there be a retailer that would keep that sort of thing in stock or would it most...
Buggyman, I think that is exactly what I need to do! I think that would work. As soon as I get some time, Ill tackle this project and maybe post some pics. THANKS!
Hmm.. That may be a possibility. But the main areas of concern are in the curves so I would probably have to mold a piece of plastic to approximately the same contours as well. And if I were to get...
I have a 96 Max IV with the double hulls. I have searched on here and haven't found much on this. My issues are with the one on the back. The way it is designed and riveted with the lip facing the...
Well, I got everything fixed and put back together. I didn't even have any "extra" parts laying around when I got done either. Everything is working well. I can really tell a difference with the new...
Spoke too soon. I was putting everything back together and noticed one of the three small planetary gears on the left side would not rotate smoothly or come off. After some prying and wiggling, I got...
Well, I have taken everything apart. I immediately discovered the cause of the leak in the main seals. Most of the bolts holding the two halves together were loose to extremely loose. My guess is...
Agreed. Its already sitting in the shop. Just have to find the time to do it.
Well, I let it sit over night and I just checked it. There is a leak in the main gasket so it looks like I definitely will need to pull it and open it up anyway. Whenever I can get time to do it, I...
Well, I decided to go ahead and get a new belt so I took the old one off. I tried again to turn the clutch by hand in neutral, but it was very hard to turn. I thought before I started removing...
Thanks, will do. Ill keep you posted......
Definitely not spinning that easily. The belt is on but its not that tight, so it isn't holding it up too much. I am getting the feeling I need to start clearing off a weekend pretty soon...
I just tried to turn it in by hand in neutral. I can turn it but not easily. How freely is it supposed to spin in neutral? I will try to block it up this afternoon and see what it will do in gear.
Thanks for the replies guys. I would tend to agree with you guys on something being wrong internally and that very well may be the case. However, it would seem to me if there was a broken shaft or...
Thanks for the link Stonewall. Maybe I have a little bit of wishful thinking but with the clutch not going back in place, something is definitely not right with it, so that will be my first repair...
Definitely doesn't look like that. I tried to post a pic of what it looks like. Hopefully it worked. It isn't tight. I thought it might just be stuck due to it trying to pull so hard and may contract...
Not sure if it has fluid or not. I haven't had it that long. It is about a 96 model and I don't know any of the history of it. For all I know, it has never been changed. I was just getting ready to...
