I have a 2003 max 850t and it seems like when I put the sticks forward and pin it it doesn't take off like it should and doesn't get up to speed. It only happens in forward, reverse takes off fast. The machine only has 62 hours on it
Are you pushing forward on the sticks? Try pushing forward hard and see if that makes a difference. Check to make sure that the linkage going back to the transmission is free of obstruction and operating the T20 levers properly. If everything looks ok, you may just need to adjust your transmission a little. Check out the transmission rebuild article on the home page in the how-to section for directions.
