I used them on many log skidders in the U.P., ATV's also
Worked great
Does anyone sell these to fit our machines?
This place used to make them but it was a few yrs ago so I don't know.
Walker Wheel Winch
PO Box 3295

Not too hard to have somebody make Ya a setup like this, just use rims as the drum. can unbolt them pretty fast. bigger rim here but the consept is the same on a 8" up etc
Thanks Nubs. I like that idea as a back up to my winch on the front. Especially if there is no place to winch from in the front i can use a back wheel to pull with. Of course this depends on the price it takes for me to fab one up in the shop compared to the cost of buying a winch for the rear.
I'm with you I think I will make one too.
When you do, post info regarding what you did and show some pics and maybe a schematic if needed. I will get to this between now and whenever i get time and id hate to reinvent the wheel (no pun intended) lol.
Speedy Metals 1-1/8" 12L14 Steel Hexagon
Cut the hex bar to whatever length and tap both end's, replace 3 of the 5 lug nuts with them and use a rim with the same bolt pattern. use trailer lug bolts to mount the rim drum, no studs stickin' out if ya remove the drum
could drill, tap and chamfer the adapter mounts on a lathe pretty easy.
This is great people keep the ideas coming
I love this stuff
