oil?

    oil?

    new max owner , cant find a oil resoivoir. do i pre mix gas and oil ? if so what mixture do i use

    Depends on the Max you have. Assuming (yea, I know) that it IS indeed a 2-stroke, it would call for 20:1 mix ratio. None ever came with oil injected 2-strokes.

    What you mix at with modern oils is debatable. Since you can tune more power on a 20:1 mixture than leaner mixtures, (my experience anyways) I mix at 20:1. You should be fine at 32:1 or 40:1 with a good oil if you don't push right to max power tuning, personally I like using 20:1.

    how new is the max? is it a 2 stroke?

    no idea how old it is cant find a serial number anywhere im guessing mid 80's and yes it is a two stroke

    yep, If it's a 2 stroke you will use pre-mix. depending on the engine, you may find a drain plug in the crank case. this is just to drain and unused fuel/oil that collects in the bottom of the crank case
