Does anybody know which size brake bands i need for mid 90s max4? its a 4 inch drum but i'm thinking they used a larger band than that.

i found that the " brake " on my '94 max IV was about as usefull as teets on a bull. removed the whole system, peddle , drums and all.

Are they not useful for coming down steep grades? Ive only drove my max 20 ft before completely tearing it down, so i have no idea on how they do on other terrain.
