I use my 2002 Max II (with tracks) predominately for ice fishing. Of course, that means cold weather and wear and tear to the battery. I've had terrible luck with batteries and I want the assurance that I won't get left on the ice because of a battery that won't handle the sub-zero temps. Any suggestions?
Odyssey AGM have proven to be the best available for several things I've seen them in. I don't have a part # for the one that fits in the II battery box. As far as a standard battery the Deka 300 cold crank amp model that was used in factory installs through 2012 is a very good battery. I've had the standard 190 amp garden tractor batteries fail in 6 months.
Applied Glass Mat. Sealed gel cel. My kid was puting batteries in his jet skis every season. Went to the Oddessy and has used then two years. Was still strong when put away this year.
