    Max II shift rod lock

Need the name of the locks that are used on the shift rods and other than cotter pins? Max II uses these locks that appear to be pressed on. They look like the locks that I used to put on the wheels of my kids big wheel.
Any help as always is much appreciated.

I believe they are push nuts. Haven't seen them on the shift rods since the seventies models.

We call them rod caps or rod nuts. The specialty fastener section of the big box home improvement stores typically have them.
