Do yall think it would be worth the trouble to set my max up to shift independent like a hustler? I can see pluses and minuses, I am curious how many have done it and been happy with it?
I did a split shifter in my Max IV project I'm currently working on. I have a split shifter in all my other machines. This was actually a fairly easy one to do. Not on yet are the actual hand grips but they will all match.
By all means, do it. It helps eliminate the need for the "T-20 Dance" when shifting, among other things. I will never re-do another machine and not go the little extra distance to split the shift levers.
I would like to check out maybe a electric actuator, that would be awesome, just put buttons on the sticks. it does look very easy to do. I am running outlaws so I think it will be necessary.
