Well the track and winter tires/wheels are off, machine degreased and regreased with summer tires on. We only had a few issues: 1.) the summer tires would nor fit on the spacers, must have never been on machine with the spacers, drilled rim holes out a hair, good to go. The grandson wanted to take it swimming but the drain hole plugs given to us by the past owner were too small and the plugs from my Max IV were also too small. After trying to use a few boat drain plugs we had we discovered that the drain holes for the Max II were different sizes. I need some advice on how to make this tub swimmable. Any suggestions are deeply appreciated. Thanks

moldman, i believe you could go to a ace hardware or a lowes and buy the hard rubber stoppers (like a cork) that will fit the holes. they are not expensive so get 2 of a few sizes to get a good fit. you can then drill a small hole thru the length maybe 1/8 '' dia. get a bolt that size ( round head if possible ) 2 washers to fit,a lock washer and a wingnut. put the bolt thru the hole with a washer on small end and on the large end put the other washer, the lock washer then the wing nut. stick it in the hole then tighten the wing nut to ''squash'' it a bit to fit good in the hole. test it in some shallow water first to see if you have a good seal. hope this helps, and make sure the bolt is a tight thru the plug. a little silicon under each washer would be good. johnboy va.

Freezing the plugwith dry ice will make drilling really nice and clean

All great ideas as usual on this 6x6 site. This type of equipment is all new to me. Hope some day I'll have the experience with my two Machines, Max II and Max IV to help others in need. Another viable option would be to clean up the existing hole locations, do a body weld with HDPE, and then drill new holes for the proper 3/4" Recreative plug.

Yes,but another option is an Argo Avenger type threaded plug fitting as you can buy on ebay for cheap. It goes on with rivets and silicone but may need some heat forming of the Max body.
