The carrier drum is the one I'm looking for info on, I did measure the center plate shaft and the bushing in the carrier drum with calipers and came up with 1 to 1.5 thousands clearance, but I feel I should use a bore gauge to get a good measurement to know for sure.

.002” is still ok. I see a lot looser than that running fine. The new bushings used to come unsized. You press them in and have to fit for clearance. The case bushings that hold the ring gear drum have to be fit in a mill or with a boring tool.

I got some good measurements with a dial bore gauge and came up with 1 to 11/2 thousands clearance which should be fine.
