    Splined axles upgrade?

I have a 1991 MAX II. What would I gain by upgrading to the splinned axles and sprockets? Just reliability?

Strength mostly and you are going to have to install inner bearings as well..

I upgraded my axles by pressing solid steel into them and drilled and added grease fittiings on them where the brass bushings mate to the frame..

Very strong and very cheap fix.. All done for under $100.00 at machine shop.

    Cheers
