    belt problems

Can anyone tell me the width and inches of a belt for a max 4??? I took out the 18hp briggs and put in a 27hp kawaski. I need to know the width and inches of the belt. The present belt I found doesn't suck down in the bottom torque converter, the belt is 1.25x44 is this the wrong belt?? I can't get any speed. Top speed is 10 mph. at 3600rpms.

If you did a motor swap, it may not be the same. You should double check your drive clutch to driven clutch center distance is the same as original. It may be but I would hate to see you buy a belt that don't fit. Im not what the center distance would be though. You may need to ask around.
