    Transmission mounting Upgrade !?

I recently got a new frame for my MAX IV, I cleaned it all up and noticed the four transmissio mounting holes are oblong from othe tranny moving around. There is also cracks in the frame, so I welded up the cracks and was thinking of beefing up that area of the frame.

So what I did was weld some steel plates on the outside edges, to make it more rigid. I was going to make new slots line up with the orginal, but I really want to drill holes.

Does anyone know if the four studs on the transmission can come out? If they do Im going to thru bolt the trans with the new holes not slots, this has got to way stronger. It wont be able to lift or move.

The bolt do come out of the transmission you can use the old double nut trick to un-thread them. Before you do you may consider using some flat stock on each side with 4 holes in it. two for the transmission bolts and then add two new bolts forward and aft of the t-20.
