  1. Don: Got a favor to ask. This past week my transmission sort of stopped working again. It will not shift out of forward (to either neutral or Reverse) on the right side. This happened about two years ago and I broke the PIN forcing it. When I removed the old shifter and checked, it was hard (at first) to move with a screwdriver, but after repositioned it to the center, and then installed the new Diamond Plate with PIN, it worked so I didn't think anymore about it. Before I did anything, I figured I would ask you if you have time to look at it.

Also, I figured that you would need one or more of the kits if you break it down. The link is: "http://www.max6x6.com/13-13-410-001-SEAL-GASKET-KIT-W-THRUST-WASHERS--T20_p_570.html". If I need anything else just tell me and I'll have it when I come out. My home phone is 703-222-3773 and my Cell is 703-999-1954.

Saw your son the Marine this weekend. He's looking good and seems to really like what he's doing.

  2. Hey Don - You planning on attending this Aprils Busco Beach? I'm still planning on heading down there on Wednesday morning (to get my favorite spot and check out the general area).

Now for the question --- How do you have your winch mounted. I got the new Warn 1700 and noticed that if I leave the Hawse on it that I will be putting a lot of angled pressure on the winch plate (the Hawse will be pointed down so the force would be at 90 degrees to the mount). Since it's just a metal plate connected to the plastic body I'm concerned break (the plastic not the winch). I noticed that some of the 6x6 have the same winch mount I have but don't have the Hawse and others have a winch plate that allows the winch to sit 90 degrees from the front (which allows the Hawse to work).

As a reminder, my home phone number is 703-222-3773 and I'm generally back home by 7:00 PM each evening.

  3. Hi Don - I'm up here in Chantilly Va. I was looking thru some posts and noticed that you mentioned having a T-20 Transmission torn apart. I was wondering if I could drop by and take a look this weekend. I'm thinking that I will rebuild mine this winter (net bands and maybe new disks). Wanted to see what one looks like inside.

    My hone phone is 703-222-3773
Cell Phone 703-999-1954 but I'm not on my cell phone much other than the weekend.
