    Tbone, turned out to be just rich enough that it wouldn't run well at normal speed, only at WOT. Put one of those "sniffers" up the tailpipe that reads O2 and tuned it that way. Works great now, no stumble at part throttle anymore either. Sorry about the late reply, it has taken me this long to have time to focus on it long enough to fix it.

    Hey pal, did you ever figure out the starting problem? Just curiouser cuz I'm runnin the same engine. I did cut out the plug in near the fuel pump and hard wire it with butt splices as that gave me trouble. Trevor
