Thanks, I appreciate the detailed info. There is a shop in Belleville too and with the fact that I am coming back and forth between Toronto and Sharbot Lake, either there or Kingston may be the closest options.

    Hi Gusgus,

I see you are in CP - I lived in Smiths Falls for years and still have a property up near Ardoch (where my Argo lives). Who do you use for service? I am looking to have my machine gone over stem to stern this spring. I have limited mechanical skills and just do lubrication, grease, oil and small repairs like replacing throttle cable and such but would like to take it to a good mechanic for an opinion on what might need to be done now or in the near future.

I bought it from Lou in Renfrew, seems like a nice guy but it is a multi-hour round trip for me, looking to find someone more along my path of travels which is Toronto to Smiths Falls (Grandsons) and Ardoch.

    Thanks.

It's nice actually talkin to someone instead of waiting for someone to reply to your thread. Thanks man. This is a cool forum. But it's set up weird? Almost like it's out dated or something? The website that is. It's not smart phone friendly!! Lol. I'll keep you posted bud. Have a good one.

Yeah beaver dam are different that uhmw material is supposed to be indestructible. And wears really slow. You can Google uhmw material and it explains what it is. The uhmw tracks are like the escargo but lighter the tracks you explained I think are the hybrids. Right? I'm only 4 hours from beaver dam Wisconsin so I think I might buy them. The u hmw. That max pic I posted looks bad ass. And I talked to the guy that owns that machine and he claims he can't get it stuck. Says he walked out of ice with it on a lake when he went through. That's impressive. The max is so light and those tracks so aggressive. Real hard to compete!!

I posted some pics of that max with those uhmw tracks that beaver dam Argo makes and sells. They are a lighter version of the escargo and the material they make the crossors out of are indestructible and they wear really slow. Look under max I I pics in galLary. I just ordered 21x11x8 Carlisle at101 earlier today.

Man your lucky!! I wish I could hunt up there. I live in northern Minnesota which I love. But I would love to come up there to hunt and fish. I don't think I can get in though. I have a few DUI's "driving under influence. The max has clearance issues which sucks.from the top of the tire to the bottom of the tub there isn't much room. I'm undecided what track to go with. I was thinking about getting the uhmw track from beaver dam Argo. I wish I could send you a pic those tracks are bad ass but there also $3200. I want something that will work for all conditions. Deep snow. Water and mud.
