Hello Freq42, I read in a message sent to me thru a thread that i posted that you ran into an issue that im currently having. i have a CH23 kohler (23HP) engine that has a 1 7/16 crankshaft. I found a 1 1/8 crank from a CV22 (22HP) kohler that is a vertical. I was wondering if it is possible to use the 22 hp vertical shaft in my 23 hp. If i could it would save me alot of headache of finding a place to mill down the shaft and will also save me some money too. Any information you have will be helpful!! Thanks!!!
