  1. Jim, I’m with you on back issues. Had surgery a few years ago and 2hours in a tub is it. I have a customer with 7 Argos in a remote camp. I wasn’t able to finish his last spare transmission this year. He may be interest in a complete one. I’ll let him know. I was thinking engine clearance on a conversion could be rough. Thanks for info. Mark
  2. No Mark, I have thought about it but have had a myriad of back issues the last 2 years. My project list is long and way behind schedule but it is still something I would like to do, even to just make a set of brackets to do the simple mount adapt. I'm sure you know the biggest issue is probably making the bracket for the sticks with out the locating bosses in the 34-100 trans. I'm sure a different belt would be needed also as the trans lays forward.

I have a GP and MP here( splined shafts) along with enough parts to do 3 or 4 of the 617/618 transmissions G and M sets.
  3. Jim, do you know of anyone that is designing a conversion kit or anything that will put a type 2 Argo transmission in place of a type one? There must thousands of conquests in this state. Thanks for any input. Mark
  4. Thanks Marc, I play again later today, just to be clued in, the inner support has no cotter pin hole? May be that is why the gap looks so large? I'll have to look at my buffalo, didn't even think of that.
  5. Jim, just pulled jackshaft 2005 buffalo. Two big washers both sides 3 and 2 brass thrust washers.
