  1. Well im glad to know that cause that will save me a good amount of money. and i wont be to hard on it mainly gonna use it to go hunting and to get to a couple spots for trout fishing
  2. Nothing that you might want to add will make your tub "Stronger". In doing so, (it is just my opinion) you will just waste money and time. The t-boss body is pretty tough as manufactured. Your personal operating habits will determine what the body will actually take. It is not a tank, but very absorbant to the "normal" off-road conditions that it was designed to withstand under casual, and somewhat extreme, situations/conditions that the operator may choose to subject it to. Sorry that I didn't respond earlier. I never realized that you sent me this.
  3. Thank You for the info i was also wondering if it would be a ok idea to take and put an under coating of some kind on the bottom of it to make sure it stays stong or anything you know of to protect it i will also send you some pictures of it when i get the chance i did upload 2 pictures to the site also
  4. Your message mentioned that you have a concern about having too much power. Well, now that you know your 340 is 11 hp, that might ease the concern based on the specs I sent as well as your motor. Being the 340 is a two stroke, IT WILL, and is supposed to rev faster than a "NORMAL" 4 stroke engine. That's because a 2 stroke fires the cylinder EVERY time the piston nears TDC, as opposed to 4 stroke that fires every other time the piston nears TDC. That being said, if all is working/running, you do not have to worry about having too much power. If you run it and it seems slow or sluggish to your wants/needs, you can always upgrade to a larger HP motor. Regardless if you go 2 or 4 stroke. Keep in mind that THE KEY TO DRIVING THE T-BOSS IS TO KEEP THE RPM'S AT A CONSTANT 1/2- 3/4 THROTTLE. And at $350.00 for a driveable t-boss, you got a GREAT deal. Most that I come across START at $600-700 bux and need work. A "GOOD", complete drive-away t-boss will start around $1000.00.
  5. I found out today that the 340 only has 11hp but does rev faster than anormal twin motor wondering if 11hp would be enought but i did luck out in one way the bearings on the shafts have been replaced already and the chain are ony 2 yrs old. Also wondering if 350dollars was a good buy the body has no holes in it all the frame and axles are in great chape everything is there just need to put the motor in it.
  6. Hello; According to the T-boss specs, it is engineered to be powered by a 18-20 hp engine. Regardless of 2 or 4 stroke. I'm not sure what hp your 340 twin puts out, but as long as it isn't (Much) over 20 hp, I don't think you will have any concerns about "Overpowering". I'm running a B&S 14 hp vanguard in mine and that is plenty of power for what I use it for. (HUNTING! and dragging deer out of the woods.) I considered swapping with an extra 18 hp that I have laying around here, but why fix what's not broken? (YET!) Been running my setup for about 6 years now and have had no problems what-so-ever. Whatever you are comfortable with is what you should go for. If you need more assistance, i'll be glad to help you all I can. I can be reached at 414-940-4591 manytime after 4pm (CST) days and weekends. Or you can text me at the same number 24/7. Have fun, good luck, be safe! ................Jeff
