I have new shafts on both sides old ones were bent. I currently still have the same problem.I think transmission is not aligned straight in frame.I just haven’t had time to work on it lately.

I would check sprockets chains bearings t-20 oil
Hey what would cause t-20 chain tension to be tight then loosen as you turn it? I removed chains to investigate but transmission and jackshaft s seem to work normal.
Do the swamp witch tires swim?
What do you guys think a mid 80s max 2 in good mechanical condition is worth? I guess trying to justify this rebuild if it had to be sold later.I was just thinking before I get too deep.:laugh:

How well does that predator engine perform? I was thinking of one for my max2 because there is a harbor freight close by in case theres a problem.

Hey give us a report when the lakes thaw. I read on the forum the swamfox plus swim pretty well but they have a deeper tread than the regular ones didn't now if it made a differance
