Can I run the Argo Wheel Spacers w/o the track on?

I was told i had to remove the argo wheel spacers (goofy star one w/stud extenders) if i was going to run w/o the tracks on. I would like to pull the tracks (plastic argo brand w/ice cleats) for running around until we get snow . . .we have an asphalt drive and i don't want to wear out the cleats or my drive . . . and then install the tracks once we get snow. Pulling and installing the tracks isn't a terrible job in and of itself . . .but if i have to pull the wheels, and spacers . . . and then re-install. . . .that makes it a hassle. In the winter i'd just like to leave the spacers on.

    Thanks for the help!

There really should be no additional strain on the system if you leave the spacers on. The main thing is the additional leverage they create on the axles and bearings, but that's there if you got your tracks on or not. You will be wider than without them, but if you can live with that, you should be fine.
l like to buy stuff and no I don't do payments!
