i got the same type of reaction tlp when i brought my attex home. my sister came out into the garage and looked at and it started laughing, i was like whats so funny and she goes i hope you didn't pay for that.....it belongs in a junkyard. but after i got the body fixed and painted she didn't think it looked so bad and now everytime she sees me she asks when it'll be done cause she thinks i'll never finish it ....but i know secretly that she really can't wait to ride in it lol

also got alot of slow downs on the 45 minute trip home from people wondering what it was. and had a few funny looks when we pulled into the gas station as well...but no looks of admiration lol

I've had a few cops pull up next to me at gas stations asking about mine.

I love the look you get when people ask how you steer, stop and go and you say "With the sticks" each time. Then when you tell them it floats, they're completely convinced you're yanking their chain.

Always pretty much use the same gas station so right after purchasing the Avenger i get ready to ride. I fill up the truck and the Avenger: which by the way has "8" wheels. When i go into pay for the gas one of the cashiers that i talk with a lot says hey that thing has 6 wheels! So i immediately turn around and look and say "did someone steal 2 of my wheels" I told her it was suppose to have 8, at least it did when i left the house. For some reason she had a mental block on the last 2 tires, so i took her outside and counted for her. The expression on her face when she realized it really did have 8.... 4 on each side. She still doesn't believe it floats. We always laugh about the 8 wheel thing when i bring it in to gas us. She is a great lady but i still don't understand the thing about the 8 wheels
