Penny pinching rebuild! Need advice.

I just came into some cash and Im trying to finish my hustler rebuild. I left the 2 biggest jobs for last, and I was hoping some of you guys could tell me the cheapest way to do it and where to get the parts. I only need to rebuild the T-20, and rebuild the original single cylnder 16hp kohler engine. I cant seem to find a rebuild kit for the engine anywhere and I would like to know how cheap I can get a complete rebuild for my T-20(bands and all). Any info would be great thanks.

this thread has a lot of good info (part #'s) for the T-20 rebuild. Do a search for "transmission crafters" to find out about getting bands relined.
I did my last T-20 rebuild for around $200, but didn't have to replace any parts, you never know what you'll find when you open one up.
