    Ox Door trouble

    I have a 2010 Diesel Ox with a hard cab. No matter what I have tried the door latches will move from cab flex and the door flies open. Anyone else have this issue or know of a fix????

    Is that a factory top or something custom? Can you post a closeup of the latch? There may be some adjustment there.

    I have the same problem on my camper red dale vintage 1960. We back up the latch with a loop of bungie cord. Not elegant but quick and easy.

    Matt from Mudd Ox sent me a PM and said that he had an upgrade available.

    Here are a few photos of the latches,, The doors open "Suicide Style" and when it come open on a narrow trail the door catches brushes immediately, also seems to happen when I'm climbing and have both hands on the sticks.

    I have thought of and used straps to secure them for a while and removed the straps for fear that if it ever rolled in water, I or my passengers may not be able to get out.

    I have tried to tighten them several times, while I have reduced the number of times they come open, I have been unable to totally prevent it.
