    6x6 Mudd-Ox info request

Does anyone not officially associated with the Mudd-Ox brand have any new news on the 6x6 version, the Mudd-Ox website hasn't changed since it started years ago so it is of no help (time to update it Matt) and I noticed that those in the know haven't posted lately on the 6x6 version. Weight, price, engine options, availability, impressions of how it differs from the 8x8, etc. would all be nice to know. Thanks.

I think its like a Yeti, or the Loch Ness monster. Just a rumor with alleged sitings here and there. Matt O. prove me wrong.

Pictures are available to the highest bidding tabloid.
The 6x6 is just a cut down version of the 8x8, much the same as argo is doing now(seam in the rear). I can't believe the weight would be much less, 2 less wheels/axles,
a little less chain, a chunk of frame, and some HDPE can't equal much. 100-200# max would be my guess. Since Matt sells nearly all his units to commercial customers who would want the load capacity of the 8x8, I bet the 6x6 will be a special order only thing.
    But, they do look cool

Matt has said that if he built a 6x6 it would,nt be that much cheaper than an 8x8 Mudd-Ox.

I got one and I had Matt put a 40 hp in it . They are like what buggyman said they are a special order for now. I got the orange one but Iam going to have Matt put a red body on it so it looks like my red 8x8 Mudd-Ox. It's a great on the trails, I might put a set of tracks on it. Whats nice is I can use my top and plow on it. It's built just as tough as the 8x8 but only smaller. It will trun on a dime too, Iam use to my 8x8 on the trails so when Iam in the 6x6 it feels like Iam going super fast on the trails. But I know Iam going the same as the 8x8. Matt is working on a liter frame for the 6x6. I think it will be about year before that they are in full production, Matt trys new things on mine. He puts them on and I go out and test them and I tell him what I think. I hope this info helps you Mudslinger. Cougar

When you get your red body, we need pictures of the two side by side.

Just curious how does the 6x6 version swim compared to the 8x8? I generally use my amphib in the water more than on the land. I think the 6x6 Mudd-Ox looks bad ass.
