I think if you ended up mounting it ABOVE the trailer hitch like you say, you will really starve those props for water and end up cavitating (sucking air) them badly. And how do you plan to steer...
Do a test in the driveway with a jack or better yet an engine hoist. Start lifting one side of the machine up and every so often see how easy it seems to tip it the rest of the way. Stick an angle...
Are you planning for it to float? Obviously remove all excess materials (chains, brakes, ect). If you plan to make it still float I would keep a bilge pump in it, and run a plug in wire to it for...
I like the simple idea of the scraper on at least just the rear tires. And I am not sure about space, but those paddles on the INSIDE of the rim is a good idea too and would/should not cause any...
@Craig_B did you ever get them in the water to test for swimming? Thanks.
I like the foam insert idea. Something that fit snug so you could just knock it in and then pry out if you wanted to access the lugs or valve stem. Otherwise I was thinking a aluminum disk with a...
Are you talking about just chains on SINGLE wheels, or wrapping a long set (possible 2 semi truck chains linked together) all the way around all 3 tires on each side? I would think the chains on all...
I do not have an argo, BUT, with the engine in the front and then ALSO a heavy plow hanging in the air off of the front, I would imagine it would want to tip forward at some point. Will the 300lbs be...
tbone, if I am around and able to be off work, I would love to come with my Max II. Was wondering how the riding was there. My jeep build should be done by then as well.
I assume the issue with getting a group together to ride is that A) not really any place to close to LEGALLY ride and B) if someone does have land that a 6x6 can go on, they would not want the...
I was wondering if anyone has ever made up hub caps that actually seal up the rim? As is will hold air in and water out while swimming. I know it would only be a small amount more flotation but but...
@swanee that is a big debate as to what machine is better. Each will have its ups and downs, but both will do exactly what you are looking for. With your river being up to waste deep, I would suggest...
I ended up getting some deestone swamp witch tires. 24x11-10. They measure very true to size. I have not had them in the mud yet but they are a very smooth ride on hard pack/road. Also do VERY well...

I am not sure exactly when the "k-lock" rims came about, but these are all MAX factory rims from around 1998 or so. I can say that I don't remember ever loosing a bead with these rims and tires.
Lower price again. $650!
I can say so far they ride awesome. And we have only got a couple snow storms but in the deeper ditch snow they really tear through it. Much better than my old rawhides did at least.
lower price, $725! Get these out of my garage!
they are 5 lug rims. the standard 5x4.5 that most AATVs have. Sheboygan is about 90 miles from me. So around 1.5hr drive or so. 262-745-6709 if you wanna text or call too. Zach J
