amphicat needs a winch
Hi guys, just a short note to ask how hard would it be to put a winch on the front of my cat? It seems like the body is kinda thin right below the split. Could i back up the winch with a steel plate or am i getting in to deep a water here?

I have Winch on my 98 Max4 with a metal backer plate on it and I don’t trust it for a second. I am actually bringing the frame work around the front the machine this weekend, to make an additional mounting plate for my winch. Now it will be connected to my frame and body to help distribute the stress all over. If you don’t have a roll bar I would be very careful about mounting a winch.
