Not much happening finished attaching top to bottom and slowly attaching trim, 1 piece at a time. Takes 24 hrs to dry so not much I can do till it dries. Should have all current pics uploaded to gallery soon. Anyone try mig welding Magnesium/aluminum? I'm thinking its an alloy 6500 or 8000 series, I can mig steel flux core weld it but won't stick, grinding produces no sparks and acts like aluminum but map gas won't heat it enough to aluminum solder it. I have a 110 volt 90 amp mig with 600 volt diodes, a full tank of argon and aluminum welding wire, but this stuff is very thin, would it be better to have it tig welded? Hoping to find someone that can make my rings for dual bead lock tires soon and hope to have body completed in next couple weeks, didn't think the body would take this long.

Finished trim, now I can start the hole crack and general FUBAR repairs. Should have body completely repaired in about a week.

I still have 2 chassis, 1 body in very good shape except 1 hole. Axles, shafts and 3 bolt to 4 bolt conversions. Going to clean them up and put on Ebay soon as i get my garage cleaned out.

So bloody close to laying paint, BUT can't rush it even if I just want it done and over. Figure about another week of patching and sanding.
