Looking for some info on these machines, the Argos I was looking at sold so moving to another machine . Does anyone know if they float or sell tracks for the Supacat ATMP? Any and all help wanted
The SuperCat floats, though I've never seen one for sale before, It's a serious bit of kit almost more of a truck than an ATV.
It has a 1.9L engine. Goes 40 mph. Has the same size 31" tires optional on the coot (BIG TIRES)
I think the craziest bit is it weighs 4,000 pounds....
Most of the vehicles sold directly from the military were stickered in service as no longer being amphibious - you'd need to check that all the driveshaft boots were intact - access panels in the side had been suitably sealed again if they had ever been opened & the two bilge pumps fitted as part of the kit were operable. Also carefully inspect both sides of the wheels as they are prone to knocking/unseating tyres off the beads and they need them all to float.
