    Terra Tiger Belt Replacement 2018

The time has come to replace the drive belt in my TT18 Terra Tiger with the JLO L295 and salisbury primary clutch. I have done some research but most of the forum post are almost 10 years old or the links are no longer active. That being said the original factory belt part# is 1605064.

What replacement belts are other tiger owners running?

After some head scratching and cross referencing some old snowmobile pages, the best I have been able to find is a Dayco HP 3011. The Hp 3011 is 44.62" around x 1.25" Wide. Another belt that cross referenced was HP 3004, this one specs out at 44.12" around x 1.19" wide.

I selected Dayco belts because I could not find information for other manufactures.
I am thinking that the Dayco Hp 3011 outer diameter is closer to the rough measurements of the belt on my machine.

I know that this is a lot of information, any feedback will be appreciated on how others have dealt with this before.

    Thank you.

Very few people are running TT's, and I'd guess most of the stock ones are collectors items owned by the tractor enthusiasts who probably are not wearing out the belts.
My suggestion would be to buy one belt (the HP 3011) and try it's fit in both primary and secondary clutches. It is ok, and actually preferable if the belt is sticking out of the secondary clutch 1/8". Be more concerned if it is too wide and the primary does not open enough to disengage. If I remember correctly there is not much space between the clutches either, so be careful of the belt being too short.
It is not a quick thing to remove that main shaft so many times people would put on a second belt and just tie it up out of the way. For your next replacement you could just cut the worn belt off and slide the new one in place.
    Good luck!
