I have these decals if you still need them.
Goods sources tell me that this chain is same as primary chain on BSA and Triumph motorcycles... try this. Speed & Sport :: Primary Chain, Triple-Row
liflod... this should be pretty close. I measured axle from 2 different Tricarts, one complete with wheels, no body... the other assembled in body without wheels. Overall length probably within 1/8"....
Good rear tires is excellent start. Pretty sure it's 1" shaft... threaded on both ends for fine thread nut. I'll see what I can access this weekend.
I don't currently have any axles w/o wheels attached so accurate overall length measurement might be a tough task right now. Do you need dimensions other than overall length?
Nice looking Tricub... welcome aboard.
Good to hear the your Tricub project is back on track, Hyper. I know as well as anyone that the priority on these projects can get sidetracked in the normal course of life. Make sure that you post...
Like a stray cat, this is one of those that found me instead of me finding it. On another forum, I was contacted by the owner about locating a belt and a chain for the unit. Later on he told me that...
From a contact made on another forum, Tricart #3 has found its way to wildman’s fleet. This is a pretty nice original example, but needs restored… original, running JLO L230 engine, original...
Getting closer... still need to work out some issues with throttle and brake cables, rub out paint and install decals. Slowly, but surely...

Looks great! ... more photos please. :photo:
Nice job, my Sperry Rand friend.
Hey John... The original Tricubs that I have seen in person and in early ad photos all have the tire chevrons pointing toward rear as viewed from top. The general consensus is that this configuration...
SW… if you ever make that Hustler thing happen, I’d like to know what happened to all the old SPD drawings, tooling, molds, parts, etc. All that stuff was in Hustler’s custody when they turned out...
This is the story as Shaun wrote to me a while back...
BTW, he has 2 Wedges now.
Engine complete and installed now.

I turned my Minicub from a collection of loose parts into less loose parts and something that rolls. I probably won't have the body and seat done until spring, but I should have the engine and all...
That's awesome! :adore: I knew there must be some documentation out there, but I don't have anything in my library and I haven't had a chance to talk the SPD old-timers that I know yet. We may need...
