    Towing a Kid

Does anyone have experience with towing a Kid? I know you can disconnect the triple chain....... but not practical in the marsh. I want to be prepared in case I have an issue when I am in the hunting marsh! Thank you in advance!!!!!!

I think that's the only way that's recommended by the factory. I thought about putting a pressure bypass like my JD garden tractor has by putting the lever into the neutral position. not sure if it can be done , never checked with any of the hydro guys to make sure . let me know if you find a way.

oldstreet, on a hydro trans like in john deere mowers, the fluid flows thru the system and speed, forward and reverse are controlled by a swash plate. the swash plate is angled back and forth to control fluid thru the system. when the swash plate is in vertical position no fluid can flow and that is nuetral. so i guess the question is does a kid have that manual ability to be put in nuetral like a garden tractor does or can it be installed somehow. not familiar enough with them but maybe with some info from some people familiar with hydraulic systems it can be installed easily. maybe a release valve on one of the main pump hoses ? hope this helps. johnboy va.

The book recommends to remove the triple chain before towing, thats the only way that the pumps are not spinning . Hope this helps
