I wish everyone would go out and buy one just to see what all the HOOPLA is all about...Racing is alot different than trying to trailride or do any sort of work....

Very cool! We have a couple Terra Tigers, and they're great looking machines. One cool aspect is the Allis Chalmers crowd has created a large following for the machine. 'Tigers are some of the more valuable 6x6's and they're always a big hit at the tractor shows. I always thought it would be neat to pull one around with a matching tractor.

Absolutely right: Racing is much harder on man & machine, brutally finding the weak points of each (when done correctly).

Stuck in the seventies- not in the swamp.

so, been studying the TT lately. sure is a simple machine. good thing too, since it's my first. haha. got the 297 to turn over, but no fire. gonna pull it and get it where i can work on it easier. the chains are all but gone on most of it. looks like i'll be doing like many and have to replace some of the internal structure. Oh, and can't determine what color it was. it's clearly been yellow, silver, and the last paint job orange. the thing is, each layer of paint looks really well done. almost as though factory repaint. the tires are pretty shot, but i'm probably gonna tube them since this will be a machine for scooting around the farm. i WILL have another, maybe sooner than later (wink wink)

So far I have seen them in a greenish yellow and like mine a school bus yellow I call it. With the serial # hand written on all the body parts inside. Mines 1054 .

You might have yours going before mine with all my work I have going right now.
