    I Still Love My Max

Well, I use the Max pretty hard. Here is a picture of it working in the woods. I helped the local snowmobile club during some trail maintenance (they actually requested my machine over the Gators, etc. available as they were not sure what they would encounter).

Well, the Max ruled the day. Another guy showed up with a Bobcat UTV, 4x4 with air lockers front and back. When he eventually caught up with me, he asked me not to leave without him as he had gotten stuck in a deep puddle with ice chunks floating in it (the Max did not even blink on that one).

Later on, I threw a track. Everyone got out of the Max thinking they had to walk out! I told them no sweat and we went back on one track (handles badly like that, especially as I have the front chains off). At the big puddle, the Bobcat actually cut a go-around, I plowed in to see what would happen. Well, one side floated, one side sank (it was only about 18" deep). and the Max stopped. I did the forward back thing and finally gave her all she had and she climbed right out. The guys were astonished! I was really happy.

Yes, the Max is basic and crude, especially compared to a luxury UTV, but it will *always* get you there and back!
