    Mounting a trolling motor

    I was think of mounting a trolling motor on my maxII any suggestion's on the placement of the bracket or can it mount to the upper plastic on the machine I have 1997 max II I would like to mount it off the back

    I built one from wood that works pretty good.It fastents to my cargo rails with u-bolts and the mount rests on the lip of the upper body,so it is pretty sturdy.I'll snap a pic when I get the chance and post it.I have a 38 pound thrust motor.It would stand something well in the forties.
