Briggs motor shuts off when hot

I have a Max2 with a Briggs engine that runs fine in cold weather but shutsoff when it hot in warm weather. It won't start till it cools off. Any suggestions on what is the problem.

    A few guesses.
1: Vapor lock. Try to route fuel lines away from exhaust and shield them from radiant heat.
2: One or both ignition coils. The epoxy in the briggs coils will sometimes crack and as they heat up, they expand allowing spark to jump to somewhere it shouldn't be.

when it shuts off and won't restart, have you checked spark? Tried Eather? give us all the info you can, and we will probably be able to point you in the right direction

Like racerone3 said, vapor lock. But also check your condensors, and coils. Does it start up when it cools down?
