rims , tires and govenor

hey friends ... does it help with more power to bypass the govenor on a 21 h.p. briggs vanguard and is it o.k. to do ? also , i have six 22 x 11 -8 kenda dominator tires with great tread on 8'' aluminum offset rims to sell. see the dominator tread pattern at moto sports . com . make fair offer...can bring to busco in april or ship u.p.s. fair price ? thanks , johnboy va.

I have the govenor bypassed on all my machines. The only real advantage is throttle response and better low end power.
