Another dumb question by a newbie:
I'm currently running Cheng Shin C828 22x11x8 tires, which were on the machine when I bought it. Found out the hard way, they don't swim.
Thinking of buying 2 AT189 tires to put on the rear to give it "some" swimming ability, as right now I have "NONE", and upgrading the other tires as finances permit. I know not all 22" tires are exactly the same height, and I can't seem to find the exact dimensions on these tires.
Thought of ordering 2 and if not exact, maybe make the difference with air pressure?
At least till I can upgrade the other tires.
Is this totally retarded thinking? Anyone done this or think of any problems with this idea?
Any input would be much appreciated.
Oh-should have added, the Cheng Shin tires I'm running are not worn-look to be almost new.
Put 3psi, or whatever you like to run, in your tires and measure the diameter. Then call Tim at Adair Argo and give him the measurements to see how closely he can match what you have. Never know, you might get lucky.
