    Conquest tracks and tires

Hey guys I just had a question about tracks. I just got a set of super tracks but unfortunately I have 22x12.5x9's all around and from what I know I won't be able to make those work. Now what I want to know is do I have to go with the runamuks or can I just order a set of cheaper tires? How much does tread design effect tracks? Thanks guys!

Various users use various tires with what appears to be good luck, the main thing for your Conquest is the 22x10 as the tracks are designed for that size tire with width being the main issue.

My new beer holder spilled some on the trails - in it's hair and down it's throat.
    Joe Camel never does that.

Advice is free, it's the application that costs.

That's what I was thinking I just didn't know if any old tire from eBay matching the size requirement would work. I have heard of guys running the tires with small squares for tread before. If I do go the cheap route what ply would be best?

I would look for 4 ply rounded tread, the thicker the sidewall the better. If you have to buy rims that will be another issue. Be advised some Carlisle tires run high and wide.

Well argo rim size wouldn't matter if I just bought tires to fit the 9" run correct? I mean the tracks will fit 22x10 tires regardless of rim size am I right or wrong on that one? Also I do have the spacers.

i think your correct. the tracks fit the tire size... i think the only variable about rims are the width. maybe the width of a rim ( 4'' compared to a 8'' wide rim ) can possibly change the tire width some, but not enough to matter. let's see what someone else says. j.b. va.

Ya I think that's correct. I would like the runamuks but that's not happening for the price. So I'm looking at just getting a cheaper set from somewhere. Then I'll just keep my current tires for when I don't run tracks.
