Shopping for Tires.

I believe Don had a Max II with the 23x10.5x12 tractor style tread tires and there was an Attex on ebay with those same ones too. I thought I heard that for a year or two Recreatives offered these tires as an option on some of their machines in the 70's or 80's. I saw some of these tires in person and they are certainly very heavy and they are probably the worst riding tires out there......I think they're probably best left on the garden tractors.

I think Kevin Griffin told me about a guy he knew with the Super Swamper TSL 22x12.5x8 tires and his thoughts about them were pretty much the same thing that you mentioned, Roger. Those TSL's are probably a tire to avoid and it would probably be better off to stick with the Vampires. It's unfortunate that there aren't that many other options for 22" and under tires for us.

has anyone tried the btk wings? they make those in the 22'' x8'' ,I was thinking about trying those, there similar to sur traks but a little more aggresive and priced right.....

So what are your opinions on the Vampire TSL and the ASX swimming abilities? I think I will have to get a set of these on larger rims and keep my originals to run my tracks with.
