    Hour Meter

I broke my Hr. meter, should I get one from a dealer or the part store?? Will it hurt if I get a from the parts store (the value)? I was going to get one and hook it up to a batt. till it got to a 180 hrs. So the hours will be the same. Thanks Cougar

An hour meter is an hour meter. I would get one from your local auto parts store and save some cash. Really, there is no need to roll it forward either. Just document how many hours were on it before it quit for the next owner if you ever sell it.
