NICE!! You're using a gopro? Mine sounds about the same unless you take the lense cap off, which is a PITA. I'm looking at drilling out where the mic is, and tapping for a large head screw with silicone o-ring so one screw can give good sound, and still be waterproofable quick.
Sorry about the Hi-Jack. Anyways, it looks great, I am assuming the noise I could here was the chains? Did you take out a link or half-link it?

The sound with the go pro is marginally better with the non-waterproof cover, but for what I do with it, I'd rather have bad sound than a messed up camera. I've only had it a few months, but I'm really happy with the video quality.

Chains, Idler Sprockets, Belt (the one that was in my racer when I got it) the roll cage rattling... you name it, and it's making awful noises. I'm probably going to take a link out of each chain, but haven't yet. I won't run the machine very much like that, so I'm not too worried about damaging sprockets any more than they already are.

...and a thumbs-up at the end! Lookin' good! 15-17 is about the maximum I've ever achieved out of 5. It looks like it maneuvers fairly well....

Are you going by the speedometer or a gps? I'm pretty sure I got mine to the 18-19 range on speedometer. Said to say its been to long. The old Tecumseh is just a spinnin though.

That was by the spedo. I didn't even bother with the GPS.

Got almost all the wiring done tonight. Just need to shorten a couple battery cables. would have gotten it done, but spent way too long chasing what turned out to be a bad solenoid. I'm scratching my head a bit on how the tail light works with no ground hooked up??? I have cut every old wire out of the machine, and had only hooked up a + wire to the light. I will still go back and hook in a ground...

I'm guessing a high iron content in the ABS.
