    Cool Max 2 Upgrades?

I just got a Max 2 and was wondering what upgrades I i should do first. Also has any one installed a easyshift kit on a max, how does it work and what is a jackshaft? Thanks.

The most useful mod to do is a split shifter. http://www.6x6world.com/forums/max-a...how-video.html
The t-20 trans is actually 2 transmissions in one case. If you control each side independantly it makes shifting it much easier. The stock shifter requires both sides to "pop" into gear at the same time. The easy shifter is a spring mechanism that allows one side to slide into gear before the other side does. Where the split shifter really outclasses everything else is in the water. Watch this video of mine changing direction. ‪Thebuggyman1 goes for a swim‬‏ - YouTube

Your jackshaft(s) go betwwen the t-20 and the center axle....it's there primarily to change the drive ratio without having to put a large sprocket on the axle and reduce ground clearance. It is also your chain tension adjustment, t-20 to center axle.IMG_0595.jpgIMG_0594.jpg
