The center to center axle distance on a Max II won't allow these to fit, nor will the height of the tub (the tub can be heated and reformed). Not sure on price yet, but probably in the neighborhood of other similar ATV tires. I'll let everyone know for sure when I hear back from the Interco rep.

Thanks JP for the reply. I thought RI was the only place to get 12" rims. My last Max IV had garden tractor rims or maybe old rims and terra tires off a ditch witch? Anyway I have located rims up here in Alaska and I will think on the ASX Vampire tires? I will wait and see what the cost will be and then have to figure out shipping up here?

Up until the late 90's Recreatives used Armstrong brand wheels that were indeed made for tractors and equipment like trenchers. They were notorious for tires coming off the bead at low pressure. Since then they switched to the excellent K-Lock wheels made by Kawasaki. I've run tires at 1PSI (others out there have run them at 0PSI even) and I can't think of anyone that ever popped a tire off the bead.

Fred talked me into getting a set for Mel's Max IV. I will set aside the cash for them plus sale a set or 2 of rims and tires to cover the cost. Can say I will enjoy seeing her rip up the trails in some Vampires ASX

On the link to the Interco site from the first post, there is now a 28" and 30" Aqua Torque tire listed. That's news to me. Who is the first to mod a Max IV and put one of those on? Keith I think you already have a Max that can handle it!
