Hey all;

Just thought I'd post for y'all for FYI. I just got back from an early season deer hunt. (In Wisconsin) I see alot of posts regarding various hp vanguards and questions. I put a 14hp in my trail boss two years ago and finally got to give it the "real" test on this hunt. It pulled me, my partner, a 150 lb (Dressed) carcass and our gear (I figured about 600 lbs total) up a 75 yard 40-45 degree slope and didn't stall. Yes, it was working and bogged down some, but it was pulling all the way! I can't argue with that! Could go 16hp, but what I have just proved it does what I need. KICK ME IN THE BUTT FOR NOT MOUNTING MY VIDEO CAMERA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Oh well, there's another hunt in late November. Maybe I'll get some vids then.
