    amphicat sachs motor

    trying to figure out what sachs motor my amphicat has thought it was a 292 but i can only find a Arctic Cat 292.

    im in need of a new head gasket and this looks exactly like what i need

    could anyone give me the right answer thanks!

    If I remember correctly, most Amphicats came with a 277 Sachs.

    thats what i thought it was at some point to... ive heard 272 277 292 and recently 280 a and 280

    not all in the cats but least very close in the same family

    i managed to take a good sized solid copper wire and use it for a copper head ring in the grove of the head..it was just right to hammer it in then i filed it all flat to make sure it would seal good.. then i also sprayed copper rtv on both head and block surfaces .sorry no pics. i happen to read this on a motor cycle 2 cycle forums.. i rode it last night for about 45min and it continued to ride great, actually ran better then ever. what a suprize right.
